Because when it's about improving anything Germany doesn't have parties to chose from.

We have nazis sponsored by Russia, conservatives that would love to basically do mostly the same as the nazis while calling it traditional, liberals that are not liberal at all and will even betray their beloved market liberalism if that's what their donors want, social democrats that are constantly betraying all social ideas and only interesting in governing at any cost, (nowadays two) left parties that can't be trusted with anything above local policies as they are all supporting Russian imperialism to a certain degree.

Which leaves exactly one party that everyone and their grandma has declared as their main enemy and that is drowned in propaganda 24/7, 365 days a year until it's "common sense" that they are insane and want to destroy the country.
