Any good FOSS music player apps for Android that are still getting updated? (lemmy.ml)

Rn I'm using Metro, app has a bit of bugs, music stops randomly even after setting battery optimization to unrestricted and hasn't been updated since April 2023. What do y'all suggest?

ahh that seems like the culprit, thanks. just weird that it doesnt happen with antenna pod or newpipe/ tubular for example
