Most planets feel like they only have one biome

I'm hoping that some of the work from Light No Fire will be brought back into No Man's Sky. Specifically so that we end up seeing planets with much more diverse biomes.
That and it'd also be nice to be able to see/visit different types of space objects.
Not just black holes and rocky worlds, but moons of gas and ice giants, rare submoons, neutron stars, red giants, and so on.
Would be cool to be able to actually travel close to the non-rocky objects (but not be able to land on them for game purposes, obviously).
Or a base could be possible orbiting them, but only once advancing further so you can make more resilent bases.
Different axial tilt, orbital speed... that'd be cool too.
