The US has never been close to that, and has been far worse than the USSR in that the US is formed on genocide of indigenous Americans, settler-colonialism, and massacring millions all over the world such as in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Cambodia, and more. It's incomparable.
Wrongs that could be righted. But honestly. You're not changing my mind. I'm not changing yours. I'll fight against communism, just like I'll fight against this proto-fascism forming in the U.S. I'll try and keep no one from lining up in gas chamber or being pushed out of helicopters.
