Yup. When you "both sides" insanity, you normalize it.
"We have two sides; those that follow the rule of law, and also these stupid fuckers over here."
They've already normalised the idea enough that they're polling people about whether or not it should happen as if it's a totally valid question to ask. That shouldn't even be a question, the only response should be "no, fuck off, you can't do that". Once again the media are complicit in sanewashing and normalising this shit.
