Links or it didn’t happen. I’ve never seen anyone online or off claim that Russia did not invade Ukraine in February of 2022.
Those that claim it is a "Special Operation" say it to deny the word invasion... of course, is nonsense. That is what I was referring to. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
That is not a denial of invasion. The term special military operation is Russian domestic legalese to distinguish it from a formal declaration of war, because a formal war declaration would trigger different laws and government actions in Russia. The same is true in the US, which hasn’t formally declared war since WWII, despite having fought dozens since then.
