Listen - I don’t really care about this for the moment because if we don’t elect Carney I’m genuinely worried there won’t be a Canada, all of our shit will get privatized, and industrial pollution regulations will get deleted.
What a time for this take. Yeah price to pay to shut up the sloganeering zombies so we can actually have an election. We can double back on climate after - I think Carney’s serious about climate.

Everything points to a right-wing pivot for the liberals and the voters seem just fine with that.
The last Liberal government bought a $5B oil pipeline. This smells more like honesty and pragmatism than any kind of actual ideological pivot.
Yes, but they also enforced a carbon tax on provinces that removed their own program.
There's also Carney scrapping the capital gains tax increase on cap gains over 250k.
I don't deny they've always been a right wing party, but they seem to be moving further right - that's my only point.
Yeah, it's happening because it's what the voters want.
exactly I may not agree with it but I have a hell of a lot of coworkers who wanted that tax repealed, that's just democracy
