I am looking for something new to do in Sask during the May Long weekend. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. My family and I love the outdoors, have a camper and are willing to travel. We are based out of Regina.

Welcome to Lemmy, I hope you are choosing this over Reddit or something! We need more people here.

I personally liked going to lakes when I had money, find a spot on a beach or a nice spot around a camp fire.

Thanks, I am finding Reddit to be the same as Facebook was. Less people and more advertising. I currently have 208+ consecutive days on their platform.

Camping and a fire is a great idea....always looking for a hidden gem. We love to find a sandy beach when things get warmer.

I always liked Emma provincial park but I have not been for many many years, pesky money.

I grew up about 30 minutes away from Emma. Spent my teenage years at Anglin Lake, I worked there for a few summers.

@jeremy@lemmy.ca @Reannlegge Wow I am from up in that area as well... I learn to canoe at Anglin!

Well I am from Saskatoon, just went there a bunch in my childhood.
