Sometimes reading the comments is really depressing... But hey, I tried to contribute a little by leaving some hopefully-helpful replies.
Most people only switch and change because of the trends and not so much because they understand how lemmy is good and why it will benefit them in the long run. People even get angry when you suggest to spend 5 minutes to learn the basics claiming it's not user friendly. Among all the things that may contribute to this i think people are too used to get products showed in their face.
in a sense I get then though. it's like they're getting preached on. nobody lines that, right?
I myself gave threadiverse another chance on my own volition and learned on my own.
so it might take some time for others to try it give a second chance
It's frustrating and annoying... But well, I guess it's worth it to push a little.
