I'm posting because originally when I was looking to create a Lemmy account I came across Hexbear. I read the code of conduct and TOS and to me it seemed like a great fit for me. However, after creating an account there, it seems pretty defederated.
Anyway I was curious on the happenings over there, because they have some cute custom emojis over there... but if there's a reason they're so defederated, I might just pretend i never made an account there
EDIT: omg I just found out this instance has cute blob emojis too :3
I just posted it as it's own comment, but he's the head Lemmy dev, huge Tankie and lead admin of .ml
.ml is part of the "Tankie Triad" along with hex and I can assure you those "ideals" persist through out, despite what they say.
