Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Mass deportations are the prelude to death camps.
Persons, groups of people, governments, territories, borders, citizens, immigrants. I'm pretty sure Nazi Germany had every one of these and now that Trump is president, I'm supposed to believe that we have all of these coincidentally? Next stop: Auschwitz.
Mass deportations of legal citizens, sure. Nothing wrong with deporting illegal migrants.
If it was Americans illegally living in ,Colombia you'd be cheering for them to send the American back to the US.
Also, the actual prelude to death camps is banning and removing guns from the population.

That's what ending birthright citizenship is all about. Millions of people who are currently considered to be American citizens will have that stripped from them and then they are free to be deported
Even before Trump, the US illegally deported lots of citizens by accident. Because practical legal protections against deportation were shit even back then.
So they don't even have to make it legal. Just impossible to practically fight illegal deportation.

That's not what ending birthright citizenship is about, it's about stopping anchor babies or birthright tourism. It's not about removing citizenship.

The link that was posted gave context. He wasn't trying to disarm the population, he was talking about confiscating a firearm from someone who's been flagged as about to harm themselves or others.

In your own damn link it says he was talking about those who are "red flagged", or is alerted to authorities as someone who might do something. You know, like when someone posts a manifesto online, he was saying they should be able to confiscate their gun and then have the court process.

Jews weren't "legal citizens" in Nazi Germany. What is and isn't "legal" is entirely made up.
They were prior to the law change. There is no law change here. The people being deported from the US were never us citizens.
Even if you could prove that those people aren't here legally, Trump is changing the laws. He wants to end Birth Right citizenship.

I think Trump has a long history of racism and it will either bake it into law that Europeans get preferred treatment or it will be selectively enforced.

Trump does not have a long history of racism. Nowhere in his past has he ever been called racist until he started running against the establishment.
Not sure why you think Europeans will be the only ones allowed to immigrate to America... There are people from all over the world who come here legally. That's not changing. It's just the mass that's the problem. Let them come from all over in healthy numbers.
