Back near when I first met my now-spouse, they were telling me about how it affects them and I was like “but wait, seeing stuff in your mind’s eye is just a metaphor, isn’t everyone like this??” and they explained to me that nooooo. 😂

How did they react to you being like this? In my experience, they either don't believe it or are even more mind blown than I am.

Oh, I was unclear, sorry — spouse is also an aphant and didn’t know I was too (since I didn’t know it was an actual thing yet). 🙂

On the other hand, my SO is probably a hyperphant (or close). That's... interesting.

I love saying (visually) disgusting things that I'm immune to 😈
