For whoever needs to hear this: If this is happening and it's negatively affecting your life then try and talk to a friend or someone about it. They may not be able to help but opening up and being honest about it can help keep you responsible to yourself.
Honesty can “break” the cycle. I believe that was supposed to be the lesson people learned from Groundhog Day or any other piece of media with a time loop element.
