Bug - follow system theme is laggy (lemmy.pub)

Can’t seem to email debug log. Or it does nothing.

But setting the follow system theme is super buggy and lags the entire app down. It seems to cache/queue up chnages from light to dark and will Lag out going back and forth.

We believe the lag is actually elsewhere but you’re noticing the slowness through the theme switching. There’s a lot of work going into improving the overall performance of the app so hopefully this will disappear with those improvements.

Well it’s also worth noting the lag doesn’t occur when a single theme is statically set.
