There's a lot of people in this world who make bad choices like using drugs, alcohol, smoking, eating food that's bad for them, etc. Someone doesn't have to be poor to make those decisions. But those who don't have a lot of money, choosing alcohol over food -- then complain about not having enough food -- that's on them.
They don't deserve to be gunned down in cold blood and neither does someone with money.
Even when, by making the world hell, you nudge, inspire or promote them to turn to alcohol?
Are you saying people are not responsible for influencing or coercing other people or their environment?
You're arguing that people don't have free will. People make choices that affect their lives.

I'm arguing that free will has limits in reality. Blaming people for stuff that is literally above their paygrade (not to mention designed and programmed against them) is some ruling-class schmuck.
