This is a really uncomfortable situation for me as a user and made me want to use Lemmy even more
I, for one, pray to be alive for the day that the French Revolution comes back to life and makes meaningful landfall on American shores.
This might just be the start!

Please go interact with people in real life.
You know that these doctors weren't touting violence, they were talking about the crazy situations which they found themselves in with healthcare insurances.
Shut up dumbass.
What makes you think sexy peach is American? They might be, but I can think of a few indicators to the contrary.
Indicators to the contrary:
their instance
they are writing comments in fluent German
I have their IP address (no just kidding, or am I)
Also, you're a dumb ass
And a troll through and through. It's nice when they make it easy to spot the ones to block.
We're victims of our environment
Yep. Fuck censorship.
Too many people think it's acceptable until something they support is being censored.
It's not censorship, censorship is when the state censors certain topics etc.
This is rich owners of large, easy to use and free social media websites trying to shape the conversation.
This is what happens when you think the state and the wealthy are distinct. But it’s one big capitalist system. The wealthy run the state, and they own the media, and they fund the “non-profit” think tanks & media.
They absolutely are.
The rich influence almost all politics, but the state and ultra wealthy have to follow totally different rules to achieve their goals. Sometimes the ultra rich are politicians, then it's complicated.
