Nothing to add really. I enjoy the visuals and the fluffy vibes the show gives off ~
Have never really watched it though...

Most episodes aren't syndicated, but you should watch the seasons in order.

Release order (Friendship is Magic):

The Equestria Girls movies are optional. The events are never explicitly brought up in the show.

You missed Equestria Girls: Better Together season 1 and 2 and minor movies like Equestria Girls: Sunset's Backstage Pass.
