Today I am 32. I am properly in my 30's now and still have no idea what I'm doing with my life!!! But it's okay because I'm eating cake for breakfast.

I am properly in my 30’s now and still have no idea what I’m doing with my life!!!

OH! OH I know this one! You're going to physio a LOT more and actually paying attention when they give you exercises instead of your 20s where you just stuck the paper to the fridge and didnt do anything with them.

Happy Birthday.

I just wish I had taken up yoga a lot sooner - at least now when I throw my back out the recovery isn't nearly as long as it was when I was in my 20s and barely able to get off the ground because I never lifted with my legs.

My back injuries in my 20s and early 30s were much worse than current ones. Wish someone taught me about core strength when I was younger.

[-] jaybb3rw0cky@aussie.zone 5 points 2 years ago

Shit, you went to the physio in your 20s? Talk about luxury hahaha.

[-] TinyBreak@aussie.zone 6 points 2 years ago

Yeah I was in an accident as a kid I never totally recovered from. Like not horrific or anything, but just seemed to set things in motion. That and I'm an IT guy/gamer. A lot of sitting down.

Also hangovers hurt now.

Oh you think you know hangovers from your drunken 20's? You're a toddler on a trike saying you've been in a motorbike accident

There's something about this age where I think it's perfectly normal to think that...saying from experience. I'm six years removed from this very birthdate and still have no idea what I'm doing with my life but the current is taking me where it wants and I'm slowly but surely getting comfortable with that idea. I might snag a branch or two along the way and see if I can steer the course but it's all flowing downwards anyway. Happy birthday, though. And I hope you enjoyed that cake!

You're now old enough to know better, but young enough to recover if you don't.

Good times.

Happy birthday! I don't think anyone ever fully has any idea of what they're doing with their life. Cake for breaky is a pretty good starting point though πŸŽ‰

Also, I have no idea what I'm doing with my life either. I'm trying to just get through each day. That's all we can do.

Cake for breakfast sounds amazing. Happiest of birthdays to you.
