NSFW: NSFW content is permitted but it must be tagged and have content warnings. Anything that doesn't adhere to this will be removed. MODERATORS
For me at least it was easy to look at the icon, but it's hard to remember which protocols everyone is using. I can pay the search cost or I can just default to SMS.
I wish there was a compatible fork that worked the old way.
I think the main difference may be that SMS haven't been the default in my country practically since Smartphones came out.
With every friend, I usually also know whether they're on Threema, Signal, or Discord (Sigh). Those that remain are on WhatsApp.
