It's a 3DS Emulator not A Switch Emulator. By your logic, all Emulators should leave Discord and Github.

It is a hobby for most emulator developers. It is probably far too annoying for many people to sacrifice time to host everything themselves in addition to developing the emulator. Especially if Nintendo is not interested in the emulator.
