Isn't this the port that's turning a blind eye to massive amounts of stolen vehicles leaving Canada? If so, then I for once won't be taking the union's side on this. Fuck those guys.
Why do you think a union would be involved in moving stolen vehicles, especially in any sort of decision-making capacity (ie, deciding to support this type of crime)? Is there any evidence to support your allegations of criminal activity?
Have you ever worked a union job? If there is something shady going on the union has their fingers in it.
However, unions are a necessary evil given the incredibly disproportionate power employers have over their employees.
