Xbox Live Gold will apparently transition to Xbox Game Pass Core on Sept 1st

includes online multiplayer and various benefits
same price as XBLG
Existing XBLG subscribers will convert to Core
includes 25 Game Pass titles
GWG offers will end

Yeah, if they want any level of sales of Console Gamepass over Gamepass Core, then they will need to add Multiplayer to Gamepass Console.

Now, for me I'm still going to be using Ultimate because I have a PC and now a Series X (Through the Xbox All Access program which also gives 2 years of Gamepass Ultimate)
