I actually really like the design with the shells for eyes. Until I read the text, I thought they were fireworks or something like that.
Is this something they have done in the past or is this because they are holding the Expo in Osaka next year?
It seems like maybe they've had mascots before? Nothing on this level they're trying to push for sure though.
looking up official mascot of the Holy Year 2024 etc gave me generic sports mascots
