More than 100 Arizona Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and progressive Democrats and community leaders have signed a letter making the case for those reluctant to support Kamala Harris against Donald Trump.

“We know that many in our communities are resistant to vote for Kamala Harris because of the Biden administration’s complicity in the genocide,” the letter, published Thursday night, reads.

“Some of us have lost many family members in Gaza and Lebanon. We respect those who feel they simply can’t vote for a member of the administration that sent the bombs that may have killed their loved ones,” the letter continued. “As we consider the full situation carefully, however, we conclude that voting for Kamala Harris is the best option for the Palestinian cause and all of our communities.”

Lol. I love the "you got me, so let's take this discussion into privacy" line. What a joke.

They are free to make another thread and link it here. I am just not interested in distracting from the genocide on Palestinians here.

You can go start that thread if you'd like, feel free to ping me.

Translation: i got publicly slapped down hard and didn't like it, so I'm gonna act smug and superior while i take my ball and go home.

Nope I'm happy to have that discussion. Feel free to make a thread and ping me.

I know you, like the others, probably won't. This is because you have the situation completely reversed: this is a bad faith deflection that you cannot support and don't really care about. You are only interested to the extent that you can feel like it is a gotcha and use this to stop thinking about your complicity in genocide.

The reason why is because asking for a new thread is just you trying to hide. Odds are no one would see the new thread, and you're also putting the effort onto others knowing that it likely won't be done, so then you can act like you won. You're intentions are crystal clear though and you just look like a fool.

Through having a discussion in a public forum? Don't be silly.

Odds are no one would see the new thread

You can link it here and they will see it if they are interested. Go ahead. I'm waiting.

and you're also putting the effort onto others knowing that it likely won't be done, so then you can act like you won.

It is unlikely it will be done because you don't really care about the tooic. It is just an excuse to stop thinking about your complicity in genocide.

Do you really think the "gotcha! You don't care about genocide you hypocrite!" line is coming from someone trying to actually engage on the Biden-Harris genocide of Palestine? Because it is obviously about deflection.

You're intentions are crystal clear though and you just look like a fool.

Feel free to make a thread and link it here. Go ahead.
