I mean I know its likely gonna change once the big waves wash over but still.
Alt: Drake meme template but with a anime girl. Top row with the girl gesturing approvingly says: if reddit is gonna kill 3rd party clients then I'm just gonna switch to Lemmy. Bottom row, with the girl showing distress, says: there arent as many funny trans people on Lemmy rn
The main devs are MLs, but I don't think that necessarily makes them tankies. The Lemmygrad instance is the worst offender if that bothers you. This instance is not sectarian, though it does have a leftist culture in general.
There is an anarchist community already on this instance as well, and it's likely this instance trends toward progressive politics as users come in and push the culture toward the mainstream.
Keep in mind, the technology behind this platform is mostly agnostic. Anyone can build an instance that facilitates their chosen beliefs and choose to only federate with other like-minded instances.
Better than rightoids 🤷♀️ Still somewhat authoritarian
i'm an anarkitty and every state is authoritarian and that's bad
also not american
I'm sorry but I was just looking for the link I saved of somewhat successful anarchist projects and I found the notion of "consumable foods" extremely funny. are unconsumable foods better?? Well obv you didn't mean that, so don't attack me on that pls.
I feel like you're the one whose mad here. Maybe your viewpoint isn't the only one that can hate neolibs? Maybe not everybody who you hate is a neolib either?
Well, keep coping and seething, I'll end this convo here cause I can see it's not going anywhere.
Edit: Dropping some quick links here I found (didn't find what I had in mind but ehh) https://www.reddit.com/r/Anarchy101/comments/1chu1n/has_there_ever_been_a_successful_or_prosperous/ https://listverse.com/2016/06/29/10-instances-of-anarchist-societies-that-actually-worked/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_anarchist_communities
I also know that somebody smarter than me would say right here (hey, well, I made it up so I guess it's me then) that the existence of state and capitalism is unnatural. For thousands of years we lived in a somewhat local stateless classless society. Mighn't have been all perfect, but certainly more decentralized than our modern world. Had worse conditions, sure. But why not try build a more equal world even in today's world with all the tech that's out there.
