What's a good used ThinkPad - or other laptop - in 2023?

As someone with an X220 i recommend getting something newer at this point. The thing hits 85-90C with video playback and new paste. I think a modern one with a Ryzen or something is probably a better idea.
A non-limited classic design for the X series would be great (the 25th anniversary T series equivalent is like 1500USD on ebay) but I've used a T470s and it's honestly pretty comparable to the old models with the only meaningful drawback being less key travel but for less backpain if you need to carry it anywhere I think it's a worthwhile tradeoff.
Yes, one of the reasons I changed my T420 for something newer. I have a Tuxedo Pulse, and I'm...well, satisfied with it. But I'm not super happy, it feels wobbly and flimsy.
