This is still one of my wtf moments of this whole political circus
Ah yes, Trump who abandoned the Kurds after they proved themselves to be our most stalwart allies against ISIS and hosted the Taliban at Camp David while snubbing the Afghan government because he always planned to hand it all back over to the Taliban.
I mean, the taliban was always going to take over. I can’t feel aggrieved over an eventuality and someone acting on its presumption. The government of Afghanistan was like three drunk gentlemen and a thousand scarecrows.
Especially after Trump agreed to free Taliban prisoners as part of the 'negotiation'
