I recently got a MacBook Air M2 that i generally use with bluetooth connected keyboard (keychron k9p) and mouse (Mx master). However, if I connect a Bluetooth headset (tried both AirPods and one from Jabra) the sound is cutting in and out. If I disconnect mouse or keyboard all is fine. Is this a known limitation of the MacBook?

I find it kinda strange that they remove ports left and right and then do not make sure to enable alternative means of connecting peripherals. Are there other workarounds than getting a docking station or hub?

I’ve an M1 Mac Studio with Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, AirPod and AirPod Pro, switching between APods whilst gaming, and they all work flawlessly.

It sounds like the keyboard or mouse is the issue. Since when they’re disconnected the problem is resolved.

Next time it happens try removing one of them, test the audio, and if the problem is resolved that’s the device messing up Bluetooth.
