MODERATORS
I started reading The Unwomanly Face of War. It's a based on a book with the same title by Svetlana Alexievich and tells real stories of women who took part in World War II. Combatants and support, across various places and parts of the war. It's nice to see such an "overplayed" topic from a very underrepresented perspective.
English translation is a little iffy at times and some of the parts feel less like a story and more like someone making a report but it's pretty interesting so far. I'm curious how it compares to the original book.
Also, some ongoing series finally updated last week so that was neat.
Edit: I read a few more chapters. It's interesting, yes, but it's also really emotional. Despite some problems I really like this one.
