Hello, this is Project Moon.

We have identified an issue in Version 1.84.0, updated Aug. 14th, where certain Mirror Dungeon Achievement clear counts was counting twice when it should count only once. The hotfix for this issue has been distributed.

[ Hotfix ETA ]

[ Issue ]

  • An issue where, after the Aug. 14th Scheduled Update's second round of updates for Mirror of Immortality Achievements, the Mirror Dungeon Clear counts were being counted twice

[ Affected Achievement Missions ]

  • Clear Mirror Dungeon at Floor 5 or higher X times
  • Clear Mirror Dungeon at Floor 5 or higher X times - every floor has to be in Hard Difficulty

[ Cause ]

  • This issue was caused by a duplicate id data that was added in the process of updating new Achievements

[ Solution ]

  • Removal of the duplicate id data

[ Future Measures ]

  • Adjust the data load logic to prevent duplicate data from being entered twice

The solution to the above issue has been identified, and a Hotfix has been deployed to correct it.

Also, any Mirror Dungeon clear records affected by this errors will be reverted to their correct values, and if the affected record is in a cleared state, it may be reverted to an uncleared state as the clear record is re-adjusted to the correct value. In such a case, any Achievement points and achievement rewards may be withdrawn from your accounts.

We will inform you of a more detailed deployment date with a future update notice.

[ Known Issues ]

  • An issue where Identity Sprites don't load properly when a story cutscene plays after the phase change for the boss enemy featured in Stage 8-20
     1) An issue where Identity Sprites can disappear when the animation where the Identity teleports away coincides with the story cutscene
     2) An issue where, when an Identity's Retreat coincides with the story cutscene, the Identity's Sprite lingers on the stage

  • An issue where, under certain circumstances, the boss enemy from the Mirror Dungeon Theme Pack "The Surrendered Witnessing" becomes invincible, softlocking he player

We are currently investigating the above issues, and we are working hard to fix them as soon as possible.

Therefore, we would like to recommend that our users refrain from accessing "The Surrendered Witnessing" Mirror Dungeon Theme Pack until this issue is resolved.

Hello, this is Project Moon.

In this notice, we would like to inform you about the causes and our measures toward issues that have been identified, in addition to the softlocking issue in our previous notice. With it, we would also like to inform you regarding our new client update.

▶ An issue where the game softlocks in certain Encounters

[ Cause ]
This issue was a side effect of fixing the issue where the targeting mechanism for Skills with the [Indiscriminate] trait did not work properly, the fix for which was deployed with today's Scheduled Update.

The side effect was that, when an enemy target uses a [Indiscriminate] Skill in Focused Encounters, we observed an abnormal legnthening of the targeting time, which caused the game to softlock.

[ Solution ]
We have identified the exact logic that was causing the issue, and have tracked and corrected the cause of the error to properly address it.

[ Subsequent Measures ]
We will be adding a logic to preemptively detect other logics that are taking abnormally long to calculate.

▶ An issue where certain effects of the E.G.O Gift Omnivibro-octovecti-bell did not work properly
※ Relevant effect : extend the Tremor - Superposition on target at Turn End to the next turn

[ Cause ]
In Focused Encounters, the E.G.O Gift should have applied to each part of enemies, but it was applying Tremor - Superposition to the enemies themselves, which caused the relevant effects to not trigger.

[ Solution ]
We have adjusted the code so that the E.G.O Gift's effects apply to each part instead of the enemy itself in Focused Encounters.

[ Subsequent Measures ]
Going forward, we will be including an additional testing step to ensure that E.G.O Gift effects are applying to each Part in Focused Encounters, so that this issue won't occur again.

▶ New Client Deployment ETA

A new Client version(1.83.1) with fixes for the above issues will be deployed.

STEAM: The update will be deployed around 19:00 (KST).
iOS, Android: As Client updates need to go through the review process of each respective marketplaces, we will inform you again of the update schedule once the reviews are complete.

[Known Issues]
▶ An issue where playing through certain stages could cause the game to softlock
※ Relevant Encounters: My Form Empties, Trash Crabs

▶ Fixed an issue where a Choice Event(in Chapter 6.5-15 (Hard difficulty)) choice that needs a certain E.G.O Gift to access doesn't become accessible even when the player has the relevant E.G.O Gift

[Bug Fixes & Improvements]
▶ Fixed the incorrect description for the E.G.O Gift 'The Unchosen', where the text did not match our intentions

  • Before : Whenever an ally is killed, all allies gain 2 Attack Power Up next turn
  • After : When an ally is killed, all allies gain 2 Attack Power Up next turn (once per turn)

※ This issue was caused by failing to update the description to match the E.G.O Gift effect changes that were made in the pre-release phase of the Walpurgis Night event, which caused the outdated version of the description to be applied to the live version of the game.

Normally, our policy is to change the effects to match the texts. However, if we were to change the effects to match the text in this case, it could cause a balancing issue in which ally death could give up to 12 Attack Power Up to all allies, so we intend to change the text instead.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by the incorrect text description.

We are currently investigating these known issues, and we will fix them as soon as the exact issue is identified.

We would like to inform you ahead of the July 31st Scheduled Update about the improvement regarding announcers.

▶ Addedd a function to automatically skip victory and defeat announcer voicelines.
※ A new in-game setting to toggle automatic skip for victory and defeat announcer voicelines will be added.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by us sharing an incorrect announcement with our previous notice.

The said change was to be a part of the new announcer testing phase, but the exact discussions regarding the change began only after the Build for 'Walpurgis Night' update was submitted, which means that it could not be added to the update itself. Moreover, working on other materials took precedence, which delayed it even further.

Also, there was an internal communication issue while we were composing our previous update notice, which caused an incorrect deployment date to be shared, and to be incorrectly worded as if a change that hasn't been made yet was to be deployed.

Therefore, earlier, we decided to upload a correction notice before additional internal discussion regarding the exact deployment schedule for this change was completed, as we believed it would be best to share a correct information with our managers as soon as possible.

However, in that process, we failed to see the degree of inconvenience the lack of this change caused to our managers, and for that we sincerely apologize.

In future update notices, we will add a process to re-confirm every change that is listed, and hold internal meetings and verifications to ensure their veracity. Also, we will strive to be faster in addressing our managers' inconveniences going forward.
