Safari, Chrome and Firefox on iOS (AKA three different Safari skins) keep logging me out when doing things like refreshing the page. Possible cache issues again? I hope I don't have to do a full browsing history reset yet again.
One for the sidebar, in the spirit of incident-day-free counters[0], tracking how many days since the last time there was a dipshitted thing from the tescrealtors
Could do it with flap-counter or nixie-clock numbers for a bit of feel?
[0] - is this an insensitive idea? I know the counters tend to form part of safety culture and their reset indicates harm, but those clowns are exactly dangerous, so..
Anyone else have this problem? It’s been bothering me for a while and is the last thing keeping me using mobile Chrome.
On the login page , after entering username and password, the “login” button does nothing. It might slightly change color but I am not directed to the site logged in, nor do I get an error.
platform: iOS
The username and password are entered automatically via either Firefox’s password store, or iOS’.
Not sure how much needs to be said here. Sometimes I come back to a tab with a.s open and refresh, then get logged out. I’m using chrome on iOS but this might be reproducible on other browser/platform combinations.
For some reason deleted posts on Lemmy still show up and they appear to have comments, but you can't read them. This one from almost a week ago is on the front page and I'm dying to know what it linked to or at least what the 8 comments are: https://awful.systems/post/346114
They must have deleted their account or something. Which is fine! But Lemmy really leaves a mess behind here. I think Reddit handles deleted posts by removing them from public feeds and deleting any attached text or embedded images, but it keeps the original link and it keeps the comments. It also hides what user submitted the post. Lemmy seems to do the exact opposite of that in every way which is just weird.
