This is God's intention, stop fighting it

NCC recommends installing devil's horns as a handlebar and bitumen is demons' cum. There's no way around this, infinitesunrise, you maker of arguments™. I'm sorry.

I sure do but my loathing of asphalt is as sovereign and self-sustainable 👉👈

I don't see much talk about that self-evident fact. Asphalt sucks in so many ways. What would be a better alternative that needs not worry about cars but mostly bicycles?

What if you heated it up some more with some of that sweet, sweet electricity and created steam-powered heat pump that's now cooling your crib?

Sup you weirds

"Cellafredda is a hybrid photovoltaic module that combines the production of electrical and thermal energy in a single system. Installed behind photovoltaic panels, it integrates a hydraulic circuit that cools the solar cells, improving efficiency and extending their lifespan. At the same time, it recovers the produced heat and makes it available for thermal uses, such as domestic hot water or heating."

Fuck. Cars.

Including electric ones.

Including asphalt.

Well parks are just parking lots for people soooo

I don't think electric cars solve much. They're still misery machines unworthy of human spirit. It's fascinating how humanity ever accepted such murderous anxiety generators.

Greener PCBs (www.jivamaterials.com)
submitted 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) by strop@lemmy.ml to c/green@lemmy.ml

"Jiva Materials Ltd is a Hampshire based company developing naturally derived materials for the Printed Circuit Board market.

Soluboard® is the world’s first fully recyclable rigid PCB substrate with up to a 67% lower carbon footprint compared to glass-fibre and epoxy technologies.

Jiva’s Soluboard® copper clad laminate can be dissolved using hot water within a controlled environment.

This enables the recovery of the natural fibre, copper and electronic components containing rare and expensive minerals. The electronic components recovered from Soluboard® PCBs can be reused in many cases.

Jiva has developed a network of UK and European partners that enable us to supply finished Soluboard® PCBs to OEMs in a variety of market sectors.

Soluboard® can be used to produce double-sided PCBs with plated through hole (PTH) technology.

It is compatible with industry standard PCB fabrication processes and has electrical properties comparable to market incumbent laminates."

How much energy would be even needed if you removed cars, planes and rampant materialism?

[-] strop@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 week ago
