The Arch Wiki is easily the most helpful documentation I have used in the switch to Linux. Absolute treasure trove of useful information in an approachable form

No, the actually antisemitic claim is that Israel and the IDF are representative of Judaism and/or Jewish people. They are fascist organizations and the conflation of these groups with Jewish people at large (a narrative pushed by Israel and their allies) is what endangers them

Power not money. Government, patriarchy, racism, and their ilk all drive people in similarly destructive ways, money is just the (highly visible) common language.

I have a raspberry pi 4 connected to the TV that I want to use for a couple different apps (jellyfin client, YouTube, display foundry battle maps) and am looking for a launcher application that could switch between these. Ideally it could be controlled by HDMI CEC (or whatever it's called). Does anyone have suggestions for this?

Covering thins like that up, is encouraging pedophiles. It let's pedos know that it's safe for them on the church.

Can we quit running billionaire's PR campaigns for them? These people are not our friends, and giving back a portion of what they stole (always in the most public way) doesn't change that

The ui is clean and intuitive and it actually handles podcasts with multiple feeds (patron/free) well (other apps I've used were quite annoying with that). Being able to tag all your podcasts is also really nice for organization, especially if you have a lot of podcasts that you aren't listening to every episode of. My only complaint was that the default settings are to download a podcast when you click on it instead if stream, but that is easily changed with one setting switch

Seems to me that about once a generation people allow the states they live in (and corporations they work for) to concentrate power to a point where it cannot be overlooked anymore? Kinda feel like you already have an answer you want tho (apologies if that's not the case).

And unfortunately, USSR falls smack damn on the barbarism side of that divide

(Hierarchical) Power in general is the root cause, not Capitalism in particular

If you really don't want to deal with sideloading, Jellyfin can be accessed through an add on in Kodi (assuming Kodi is easily installable on the TV)

I would recommend Anarchy by Errico Malatesta as a much more readable alternative to the conquest of bread. - Anarchy - Conquest of Bread

"Every election in my lifetime has resulted in worsening of the human condition because "protest (non-)voters" can't be bothered to consider the most elementary examples of cause and effect" You say this as if the Democratic party hasn't run with exact same strategy the entire time. A strategy that doesn't work. Followed by yelling at people for not loving them enough (which has also never worked) and doing nothing to address there own shortcomings. They (rightfully) pointed out the bigotry of American conservatives, and then run a campaign to court this vote and alienate they people they claim as there base. And pick Kamala Harris as the candidate, as conservatives would ever vote for a black woman. Blindly electing democrats for running as blue team is what got us here, it is not going to get us out of it.
