I like the idea of using the AI Story Generator, even though it might lead to some strange results. But I run into the same problem: I try to remove the html element for giving the user the ability to write their own overview of the story. I just wanted fill the storyOverview variable myself, but there are some sorts of interconnections with other stuff. I bet it it's not hard, just above my skill level. Help would be much appreciated if anyone can do it.

Thanks for the information. NovelAi's above my budget. When you are talking about taverAI and all that, you mean I would have to host the thing on my own server?

I'm an autistic girl, who is very fascinated with choose-your-own-adventures and other text adventures.

I tried with AI-RPG (https://perchance.org/ai-rpg), but I just couldn't figure out the code how to modify it, so that:

  • There's no prompt for a custom RPG at the start, the story and the instructions to the AI are predefined and not visible to the player
  • There are no buttons for writing style, difficulty mode, background music, or image, no saving or loading of games.

I would just like to have a clean two dialog box thingy: the story and your action to it, with the continue button.

P.S. If you could please help me with this, you'd be rewarded,in time, with a text adventure set in a fictional world resembling 1842 American frontiers. A strange meteorite striking an arctic country, generating distortions of space and time, as well as strange artifacts which trigger a sort of gold rush to get to these mysterious things. You've got Amazonian female tribes riding mountain goats, too. Also, everything about the time period's been researched with autistic meticulousness.
