Like you I try to support artists by purchasing physical media or releases on Bandcamp. Outside of that I get my music on Soulseek, through torrents, Usenet, and occasionally XDCC. I don’t need lossless files and even if I download FLACs I transcode them to 320kbps MP3 before they go on my iPod anyway. The harder it becomes to acquire music legally the less bad I feel about downloading with abandon.

Hard to narrow down favorites because my feelings change often, but these 5 have been in rotation most often lately (in no particular order)

And I'll say that I don't necessarily think these are the best albums ever... I don't think I could ever make up my mind about that! Looking forward to seeing everyone else's picks.

I've been doing this for a few years using AirVPN but it seems like that stopped working after January 1st. Videos would not play unless I used the NordVPN browser plugin, this seems to be a workaround for some VPN restrictions. I do enjoy the commercials!

I’ll be taking on graphic design, branding, and motion graphics projects. I don’t have an online portfolio at the moment as I’m still getting everything together but if anyone is in need of design work they can certainly send me a message.

I've moved away from free personal Fusion360 to OnShape and it suits my needs just fine. The free tier makes all my models public but I don't mind, and it runs much more smoothly in my browser than Fusion ever did on my desktop.

I also just switched from Mullvad to OpenVPN and I’m very happy with it. I grabbed the 3-year Halloween promo.

Come to Daddy (2020) is one of my absolute favorite horror comedies. It’s not Halloween-related at all but it’s so weird and dark and twisted that I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

Looks great! The iPod modding scene is alive and well. eBay is full of used/for-parts pods that often require a simple battery replacement to get up and running again. My favorite website for aftermarket parts and accessories is Elite Obsolete Electronics.
