A disproportionate number of MAGA folk are descendants of European settlers who do not beleive in egalitarianism. They never believed in it. White supremacy was the cultural norm just a few short generations ago and in many ways it still is the implicit norm.

Real progress was being made in challenging this but the Nazis aren't going to have it so.. What's it going to take for 'the good ones' to step up?

For context, every wealthy nation has work visas like this. It is not unique to H1bs. Dubai was essentially built on this framework with the added aspect of confiscating passports.

It can be used well in some cases, especially in attracting a workforce to an underserved area. For example, immigrant doctors and nurses make a up a huge proportion of the hospital workforce throughout the US (upwards of 1 in 3 in some urban areas) but even moreso in rural areas.

The problem is when it's misused, especially in the tech sector.

This survey seems to suggest otherwise.

Many, including myself, see Trumps wins as backlash by legacy European settler descendants for to a part African man serving two terms as president.

I agree Tims at the end of the day on a college campus is a bit sus but if both are fresh I prefer Tims. I feel like I'm being orally violated by HCFS with Krispy.

I think they make better doughnuts.

Flavor profile is more balanced. Krispy is way too sweet. Dunkin is pretty bad too.

Havent tried Tims in the US but I imagine it's bad. Have you tried Dunkin or Krispy Kreme? Tim Horton's is far from perfect but guarantee as a Canadian you'll never go back to either unless you have an American sized sweet tooth.

Most Americans I know find Timmies too bland because they're used to being punched in the face with HFCS.

Literal overprocessed trash compared to Tim Horton's but US Tims might be lower quality than Canadian.

You know those experiments Pavlov did with dogs that made them salivate to the sound of a bell (because they associated the sound with food)? Boomers essentially had that but the trigger is the word communism and the response is aversion / disgust.

They didn't have the internet back then so mainstream media could essentially control mainstream thought.

An alarming number of Americans (and people around the world) just vote on vibes. That's the only way you can explain voting for a fascist one election and immediately pivoting to a democratic socialist.

It has little to do with Americans being violent. It comes down to population density. The US has a ton of places without the population density for pick pocketing to be effective.

54% of Americans read at below a grade 6 level.

Welfare is may litterally just mean 'moocher' to an American who has been drowned in propaganda their whole life.

The majority of those countries were robbed by first world countries for centuries so anyone using the phrase without any moral reflection is intentionally not looking at the whole picture.
