yes, but that part is even dumber and didn’t wan to talk much of it.

so they sell like 5 different iphones and one of them is marketed as the thinnest. it is apple trying to widen their almost saturated market, not a conspiracy.

People who dislike their phones so much should stop using them. I’m very happy with mine.

once you get out of social media you realize the problem are those , no the phones.

I love being able to talk good quality pictures of my kids without having to even think about it or sharing them with their grandmother.

I enjoy when my home screen presents me with a nice portrait taken years ago that I have forgotten about. live photos are an amazing detail that often without any intention capture a funny or cute scene.

The phones is boring but thy are also a canvas. look the kind of covers that teenage girls use.

the problems with phones are not the phones. it’s companies taking advantage of them to steal every second of attention from us

they have only survived so far because hype and government money. they have never been profitable. the stock could halve again and it would still be overvalued

Hello!

I plan to replace an electric vitroceramic cooktop for an induction one. Both are 60cm in width, but looking at their manuals, the current one specifies a cutout of 58cm while the new one says 56cm. Both specify the same height (49cm)

Now, thankfully I dont need to make the hole larger, but Im wondering if the extra 2cm will be a problem or not? The cooktop should cover the entire hole but Im not sure if it the extra space could allow it to move around. I'm hoping it would be ok (they tend to have an anti-slippery silicon thingy), but I prefer to ask if some has experience just in case.

I have been using showrss for very long time to get a rss feed of my tv shows. unfortunately they dont support more than 1080p. I've been looking to upgrade to something that allow me to automate downloads that supports 4k and HDR releases of shows. I don't have access to any private tracker atm.

I currently use the software flexget to automate my downloading, if that is important.

what are my options?

they were just fined with 1.8B because of their anti steering practices. so clearly they don’t always comply

I love how every thread or post about printers ends up in people just recommending a Brother. I really hope they keep going doing what they are doing.

If someone is putting civilians between you and them and you still shoot, you are not better than them.

This ban also legitimises the idea that supporting Palestine is equal to supporting terrorism or antisemitism, which also can increase hate crimes against them (and Arab people in general)

the issue is that Hue devices can actually be used offline without issues. They are changing that retroactively for users.

I just blocked my bridge from accessing the internet. hopefully that will prevent any sneaky update from messing with my local access

this is exclusively about protecting the meat & dairy industry. nothing more.

I would say that stop voting a**holes is even better (and the best thing is, you can do both!)

Finding movies dubbed to Spanish (particularly children/family movies) seems tricky. Seems that 'sphere likes their download links. Which are good places to get them? I dont mind if it's latinamerican or spanish dubbing
