Here's a legal tip you likely don't hear everyday.

Wear clothing worn by a smaller percent. This could reduce the chance of false accusations if you truly are innocent. I mean in this specific case it probally could.

Realistically what good would it do once you already had scraped the pattern of news sites it's already over. All this is doing in actuality is preventing new start ups from competing in the ai space. so really this is the fastest enshitification world record of a medium. Whether you like or hate ai this is actually an enshitification of it. ( I hate ai.)

This is literally impossible even with ai and a dangerous bill for big tech. While for smaller Fediverse Communities it's much much easier to moderate that type of content since

a. we don't have to rely on a corporation to provide the tools we need.
b. you would only be responsible (I think) for content on your own local feeds. However if you are responsible for federated content appealing as well, might want to federate with servers with some type of user verification (not id verification) but like verifying your use purpose of a server they are joining. and defederate from other servers that are not moderating their local feeds.

That's what i'm concerned about.

The idea is good but even with ai measures minors can easily fake an ai face id verification. I don't think it's possible to prevent 100% of cases.

But hopefully if this actual results in the ai tech improving at preventing a over whelming majority of kids faking their ages it would be extremely rare. If not.. the amount of fines tech companies might risk facing could potentially bankrupt them if too many kept sneeking past the ai and the gov acted against Google for that. the fines for that type of content isn't usually a small matter.

Hopefully ai bot traffic isn't surpassing human users yet on the Fediverse.

How easy is it to just install a firewall and block the parent moderating app from getting any data?

Can they actually force a write of a large file to test it or do they look at your specs? If they can actually force a large file writing whether it's 100 mb or 50 gb, 1tb this isn't even really a privacy issue it's just a, tech companies can just step all over you and your ardwae st to make sure your human or to make sure they can track your preferences.

Does this appear on Google search or on specific websites that use this REcapcha?

I tried following a variety of lemmy communities.

but I tried something interesting, following only communities with posts from the last 7 days that only had 2 posts each days of the following day.

rules: don't stress about whether In the future it goes over 2 posts a day, with the goal being to minimize the subscription feed in general in an attempt to prevent over usage while still feeling like there is atleast some amount of content to read through.

That is 100% true u.s states laws are essentially federated. However, Google and Meta are big 'monopolistic' the companies who want to be able to profit and age verification opens that up for them and so expect them to use terms like 'global regulations' or any excuses to further push for verification.

This wouldn't happen with public transit. At the very least it is much much less likely.

I feel like cars should be either heavily restricted at beaches or banned. If someone is at a beach playing in the sand and normal beach activities and a car could cause this type of distress. If not banned there should at the least be a more clearly visible parking lot seperated from the beach.

Even when it first released the price for the value it had at the time was low. Especially compared to modern consoles like the PS5, or Steam Deck.

It's small, and looks really simplistic. Even features a touch screen.

Games on the DS have a sorta in between ps1 and N64 graphics. Having sharper looking textures compared to the N64.

One game in particularly to play on it to get some of the best out of its specs, is Lego Star Wars complete saga for the DS looks and plays surprisingly console-like on the small screen and lower specs of that system.

Also get any of sport and mini game compilations. Mario Party, Wario Ware, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games. You get many games in one title why not?

Rugrats Search for Reptar was the only Rugrats game I played 100% through. A remaster of it and some of these other titles seems random. But if we're doing it someone remaster Spongebob SuperSponge. (ps1)

I recently ran into this but the fix is simple and doesn't necessarily require you to take the handheld apart.

3 things to try to get your L and R responding again.

  1. blow into and around the shoulder area space. It's as simple as clearing possible dust that might just simply be preventing your l and r button to click down.

  2. press the specific L or R button that isn't responding in a rapid motion and try pressing in different spots, like the middle or from the left and right side. (press about 30 times) Try to avoid press it hard where you might risk breaking it.

  3. sometimes you can also just kinda press down and listen into to how it clicks and if you feel around while pressing down a few times you can sometimes kinda press it back into sync so it responds again. It's hard to explain this part it but I think you'll get the idea maybe.

I recently just got a DS lite just this past April it was used but in good condition the battery on it still functions. When I ran into this issue I raged untill I found out some ways to "calibrate" the shoulder buttons back to responding to presses as a player would expect.
