I actually see a lot of lyriqs (relatively speaking, as many as other Cadillac midsize SUVs) and a few ariya. Never seen a Hummer ev on the road though
Slightly faster charging and slightly worse range if they keep to the website specs. If they can get work fleet vehicle sales this will probably do well, but for an average consumer seems DOA at $30k in a way it wasn't at $20k
Yeah this is now more than a fully trimmed new Chevy bolt was last year with tax incentives. With this you sacrifice basically everything to in theory be cheaply fixable and modable, and you get an open air trunk to haul light but bulky loads.
That's pretty disingenuous, the Hyundai ionic 6 is either the second or third fastest charging (km/minute) EV on the market and costs twice as much as the most affordable non-chinese EVs. I'm an advocate for mass ev adoption, but to pretend that real issues don't exist hurts the movement. Battery capacity doesn't necessarily need to increase imo, but all cars need the charging speed of Hyundai/Tesla or better before these types of trips are reasonable.
In a 2023 Chevy Bolt here's what the same trip looks like:
No, but it does play a pretty significant role in how much influence they have to control AI
While true we're also in the 'do literally anything you can to stop or stall the fascists"' stage and this denies a greater Republican controlled house
Looks like they've indicated that only the larger EUV will be offered. Unless you consistently have tall adults in the backseat or need the extra quarter inch of clearance regularly it's a worse car in every way, but it's pricier and gets higher sales margin so of course it's the one they keep.
Used to be true, not consistently so since COVID or so. I had to buy a car about two years ago and brand new cars with full warranties were only $1-2k more and with better financing offers than 2-4 year used cars with limited warranties. It got better for a bit but apparently used car prices are spiking again
Or like lawnmowers and mopeds, which typically have unfiltered exhausts
Taxes aren't even that low here for how badly public services fail.
I see two big things that others have touched on. One, you wll not believe how much of a difference a real road bike makes in your speed once you have a chance to try one, and the average speeds you're seeing are almost definitely on road bikes. I don't think you need to go out and get one now or anything, get comfortable with what you have first, but also know that if/when you try one your average speed will probably jump at least 5km/h.
Second, cycling takes a lot of time to get used to. Anecdotally, when I first started I was a competitive distance runner and would occasionally win smaller races, and I started riding with a bunch of older relatively out of shape guys who had been cycling for decades. On about one sprint or hill a ride I could beat them, but they would kick my butt on the rest of the ride for more than a year before my conditioning caught up and I started to be able to keep up consistently.
It depends on why you want a compact phone. If it's to fit into small pockets then the flip phones do great, but if it's because modern phones are too large to comfortably hold and use for your hands, or because you want a smaller screen (for less distraction or for better battery life) then the flip phones are pretty bad.
