I know! But I don't really have a choice currently; which app would you suggest for tickers / info channels? Mastodon would be an option, but it's not quite the same. Abd I'd first have to convince everyone to use it :/

FlorisBoard (at least the beta) is getting there (swiped on FlorisBoard), though it's not quite there yet

I've been using metager for some while and really like it. They're also part of an initiative pushing for a free as in freedom search index, so that's nice

In my understanding a problem often is that electricity isn't used when renewable electricity sources can provide it. One solution to this is storing it, another (complementary) one is to adjust the usage to times when there is a lot of renewable energy available. This especially makes sense for big consumers (like factories), but a lot of washing machines also sum up to a lot of electricity demand. So we have to adjust to mainly use electricity when it's available via renewable sources, and this thing can hopefully help with that.

Ok so apparently it didn't like my emojis. I was able to change it to Timber, but not Timber 🏳️‍⚧️

Codeberg is wonderful and also really easy to switch to from Github, as it has nice migration features.

My brother pushed some buttons in Windows lockscreen, which caused assistance settings to never go away again (I still don't know how I should've fixed it), that was the final annoyance with Windows and I switched to Linux on my laptop. On my PC I switched once I didn't need Windows for work (remote desktop) anymore.

Sounds like a good time to switch to resonate. There's (sadly) not that many artists there yet, but the pricing model is really cool (and doesn't exploit tne artists as much). And I guess the only way a platform like this will get more artists, is if it gets more listeners :)
