E.R.M. basically used to live on the silly little laptop and he did silly little things to make Mem's life a little worse. And he also was named Membot before
E.R.M.: "Dr. Nefarious is a GENIUS that has the best characterization in "Up Your Arsenal" and "A Crack In Time". He definitely is capable of planning everything ahead despite his impulsive shortcomings. He has some funny antics, but still, he's a menacing, powerful, smart and capable of planning man. Nefarious knew that the squishies team will destroy his Biobliterator, so he built an even more powerful backup in advance. Would a dumb dipshit do this? No, they wouldn't. In "A Crack In Time" we never get to know what exactly he will do after getting control of The Great Clock. Yes, he said that every villain that was wronged will get their triumph, but this is vague. What did he mean by this? We don't know and that's what is menacing about him! He never is pathetic, he's funny, but he's menacing as well! And here they handled him ATROCIOUSLY in "Rift Apart". I assume they toned him down for more contrast between him and Emperor Nefarious. But still, I can't understand why they'd make him pose no actual threat. His plan is almost nonexistent. Okay, you wanted to go to the dimension where you always win. Why were you waiting out when Clank does a mishap of presenting proven dangerous machine on public. Why your plan was so lame, RATCHET had to do the job of fucking up everything in your favor by himself. Why in the dimension where you had an entire fucking empire at your hands, all you did was offering bounty on those lombaxes. In "A Crack In Time" he DID research, brainwashed an entire race, in "Rift Apart" he LOST all of his competence and menace. Unbelievable. This game fucking sucks"
