An acronym can have multiple meanings

BLM = bureau of land management = public land. Anyone can use public land for a wide variety of purposes as long as you clean up after yourself including hosting music festivals

When people complain about high concert prices they are mostly talking about tickets for the huge artists

Congrats you have invented Coachella

The issue isn’t venue price it’s that demand is much higher than supply. Venues can price gouge you when you go to a concert for a huge artist because they know people will pay. A concert organized on BLM land in the desert will still have to have organizers

Yeah so many fantastic small bands charging a lot less for tickets and they’re much easier to find now than in the past. My favorite artist right now charged like $40 for tickets to their most recent tour

I think it’s because laptop vendors are threatened by the MacBook Neo, which is the first serious threat to PC sales for non tech people who buy the shitty $300 laptops at Best Buy since Chromebooks, which is the majority of the market. Bad press about Windows absolutely will convince people to get one instead of a windows laptop

Linux could also be a genuine threat if someone like Valve comes out with a Linux laptop for gamers or a major vendors starts preinstalling like Ubuntu or Fedora on consumer oriented laptops but I doubt any major vendors would unless they have a serious falling out with MS
