Yesss, that was so satisfying! I knew there was going to be something after they featured the disciplinary meeting in the recap. I'm afraid to see how they react, though.
I think how open ended it is matters, as well as how quickly you can look at an image vs read a submission. Even on r/writingprompts, I always read a few and then moved on, while I could keep going on and on on PSBattles, because each image was just a glimpse and what they did with it was so different (at least it felt like compared to how writing prompts usually went). And personally, I agree about pivoting to a generic name.
Even if it's just links, taking the time to find them yourself and post them is a useful step, since relevant doesn't always mean insightful or interesting.
Also, you're not completely tied to links. Make/ask for recommendations, life pro tips, etc.
!fakealbumcovers@lemm.ee got a lot of interest, but the higher barrier to entry means I'm still the only one posting. Edit: We have a new poster!
I did just promote it at !fakebandnames@lemmy.world, which should help a bit.
!haiku@lemm.ee by contrast already has a few other people posting, and I'm happy with how it's growing so far.
Happy to be here, happier to see it grow!
If only Lemmy were ready for c/antimeme (and the confusingly adjacent c/bonehurtingjuice)
Take that back, it's clearly giving Judean People's Front.
Which game is it, btw?
Considering what brought me here, I'll take finicky over maliciously designed any day. :)
Fr, I thought I hated Lumon before, but now there's no happy ending other than it all burning down.
Reghabi and Cobel are honestly neck and neck in who can help Mark in the most difficult way possible. It's just the difference between 'refuses to elaborate' and 'aura farming'
