I'm 60, I asked myself this at 20 and answered no and had a vasectomy. Not just for any kids but for the biosphere itself, we in the developed world in particular, walk heavily upon this earth.

The destruction is accelerating I guess and is more obvious now but it's been like this my entire procreating life, yiu just had to actually observe.

As an Australian many years ago i read a thread on reddit from some stressed lady or other (I.S/ wjo said her best times were eatibg a sandwich in the car park of tje sandwhich place..and i was like, shoot me now, how can that be? it was beyond my ability to grok not going to a park, or the beach, or a lake or whatever and getting out of the shitty spot that is a a car, in a carpark, beisde a road, in front of a sandwich joint to eat a sandwich and collect your thoughts.

as some one who lived and worked outdoors in tropical north Austalia for 45 years, before moving much closer to the south pole, i left when i needed AC as it was getting too hot and humad.

I used to visit social centres like the library and use their AC and WiFi or just read a book on the real killer, hot days. or go swimming :)

Good home insulation makes a difference but can only hold the worst of it off.

As to making it worse, the same thing with cars, plane flights etc and not voting Greens to eneact policy change. Just have to look around to see most people are making it worse with enthusiasm every day, they just feel no guilt :)

Unlike genocide, that situations fixable by voters, we just seem content with what we have.

We could Vote Green, who have policies around higher taxes fo the wealthy and and corporations and dental into medicare, free universty etc

hell, I dont vote Green to elect the Greens per se but to move the syatus quo off the orthodoxy and allow the Overton Window to shift.

Nothing changes until voters do.
