A lot of European tech companies rely on American infrastructure, since there aren’t many EU alternatives to what AWS and the like offer.

But I see your point

Liverpool have signed Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt. Liverpool first offered €80m earlier last week, but Frankfurt rejected that bid. That offer matched Newcastle's bid. The Magpies left the race after Ekitiké stated internally that he only wanted to join Liverpool. Frankfurt wanted up to €95m all in.

PSG will receive 20% of the profit Frankfurt will make from the deal. Since his arrival, Ekitiké has increased his market from €15m to €75m. But Frankfurt wanted significantly above his market value to consider a transfer, and have now gotten what they wanted. The fee will take Liverpool's spending to over €300m. The most spent by any club this transfer window.

Diogo Jota killed along with his brother - just 10 days after the Liverpool and Portugal forward got married. He had three children.

"A vehicle left the road and everything indicates a tyre burst while overtaking," it said in a statement

Meta devised an ingenious system (“localhost tracking”) that bypassed Android’s sandbox protections to identify you while browsing on your mobile phone — even if you used a VPN, the browser’s incognito mode, and refused or deleted cookies in every session.

This is the process through which Meta (Facebook/Instagram) managed to link what you do in your browser (for example, visiting a news site or an online store) with your real identity (your Facebook or Instagram account), even if you never logged into your account through the browser or anything like that.

Meta accomplishes this through two invisible channels that exchange information:

(i) The Facebook or Instagram app running in the background on your phone, even when you’re not using it.

(ii) Meta’s tracking scripts (the now-pulled illegal brainchild uncovered last week), which operate inside your mobile web browser.
