This. Also, in Europe you can get internet, electricity, email from coops. There are even some "ethical banks" and some survivors from the 2008 (at least in Sapin) as "small savings rural banks" (cajas de ahorros).

And if you aren't a rich progressist and can't afford some expensive eco-bio-coop consume, there are 2d hand options, food recicling, stealing is easy enough (and nobody will shoot a bullet to you for this) and so on. So, yeah, off-the-grid is a legit option, but on-the-grid stealing electricity from huge power corps is super legit also. No need to go to the caves.

Even in case of no alternative (say, I must have an id and a cellphone number), this doesn't justify anything from CEOs. Fun fact is, in the case of Proton, there is PLENTY of alternatives. So, let's use all the colorful gradients instead of accepting to remain in a dark-gray scale

I didn't liked it because of their proud claims "we are better than Tor" talking about their blockchain-based "incentives", and their venture capital small start-up model. VC always means you're product is doomed to be sold, abandoned or screwed. Apparently they also proudly claimed "we are better than Signal". Good luck.

Btw are you confusing Catalunya and València? How do you relate the referendum with the floods management? I don't want to sound harsh, but I suspect confusion and reductionism >.<U

The monarchy has been hated since it was reestablished. Pre-referendum times, there are soccer final (la copa del Rey) between Catalan and Basque clubs, giving the back and whistling so hard to the Spanish anthem, that the Spanish National TV disconnected the live sound and played the hymn on top.

There are also public cases of prosecution against people burning pictures of the (former) king, for a very useful law there is called "injurias contra la corona y la bandera". And so on.

After Franco, they didn't do a referendum about the monarchy established by Franco because polls told they may lose it, in favour of a republic. You know, the so called "Democratic transition" was more of a "transaction". Same Police, same judges, same symbols, same politicians, same richmen.

This reminds me that the spanish labor law forbids "solidarity strikes" and "political strikes". Even though some have happened with some labor excuses, well, it's not common to see them called for :/

La huelga es ilegal:

Are you trying to justify one atrocity with another atrocity? Do we need to play the game of who is more cruel here? Of the death toll? The video you sent says something about an holocaust in 2023. Well, I think we can count in this Holocaust the 8000 Palestinians killed, of which 2000+ kids and babies, neighbors of those he is crying for. Hospitals shelters, refuge camps bombed. 2M people threatened to death, to starving, incommunicated, ill with no more medical assistance. This Holocaust will only create more hatred and less respect for other's human lives. The same dehumanization of the enemy that Hamas has been fed after decades of apartheid, land occupantion, harassment, impune settlers burning houses and shooting farmers. Yet another impune western colonization process.

Moreover, Hamas has been used by Israel for decades to sabotage the process of creation of a Palestinian state, which, by the way, is part of the Oslo agreements and a consensus of a possible peaceful solution to the conflict. So, they go against this solution, financing a competing group that is against a laic state, and calls for an Islamic only state. Surpsrise, they eventually get to attack to a problematic scale, Israel plays the victim but then enters and destroys everything to the ground.

What do frigging cooked babies atrocities matter in this context? How many times would you need to hear "yes, it's inhuman, horrible", to be able to advance the conversation to acknowledge all the atrocities, injustice and violence without dehumanizing Arabs in general? Imagine that instead of Arabs, Israel army bombed, say, the German city of Dresden, killing thousands of civillians because it's a neonazi hotspot where international refugee centers are attacked. Well all white people are the same. Fuck them, right? It wouldn't even be comparable as those neonazis assholes can't play the role of the only armed resistance available for youngsters, that Hamas plays.

There are consumer unions with hired lawyers. In Spain there's Facua and OCU (but the 2d one is governmental, I think)

You are thinking of https://opencellid.org and of Mozilla location services. You can contribute to them with the TowerCollector app.

UnifiedNLP is just one interface that can use many "backends" or "location services", like the Mozilla one, an offline list, or even google itself via microG.

Have you checked if this impacts the availability on your sites from Tor? While on Tor, I'm really fed up of Cloudflare "security pages" blocking me away from sites that are served via them. I don't trust they treat DNS differently.

The least private way to pay them is via PayPal and they only ask an email or xmpp account. They accept cryptocurrencies if you are into that. They ask nothing for the whois, and they even let you write whatever you want ;)
