How are your userbase going to connect? Is it over a Local Network or something? Interesting concept to use nodebb in an offline mode!
definitely go with the latest Nodebb, because every release has incremental bug fixes As to Ubuntu again best to take the latest release
People probably get bored of me saying this, but the thing I had most problem with is the email sending (for verifying signups) Which mail service are you planning to use?
@baris thanks, where is the toggle to turn that on? When I go ACP>appearance>themes there are no options?
@Astro-What , no in this context default is what you get on install, until its changed to something else.
But I want some posts showing on mobile, which Im not getting at the moment. My homepage is just list of categories
If you look at Sudonix for example, it shows posts on homepage.
I have to tell @phenomlab that apart from that plus, Sudonix doesnt work well on mobile (if you dont have dark mode enabled.) I did try and post about that on Sudonix today but couldnt even complete the post as it wouldnt let me select a category from the layers of transparent menus!
Default mobile view for my site is miserable, just shows category headings, no posts. Is there an easy way I can set it to show some recent activity without installing anything?
I did ask chatgpt, its new super familiar / friendly tone surprised me :ghost:

Thanks, where should I paste that code?
