I recommend downloading Blokada 5 to block ads from apps like duolingo.

You have to sideload it from their website because google is full of cucks, but it's definitely worth it.

Russian and Ukrainian are not two of the hardest languages to learn.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Name also checks out.

This is an English forum...

That's not how it works.

People who can translate between English and Russian have more opportunities because their in such few numbers.

People who can translate between Spanish and English are a dime a dozen, which is why most people who speak both languages end up working service jobs.

They are not two of the hardest languages to learn, and just because something is difficult is not a reason to avoid doing it.

Err, KDE at least gives people the option to configure their system how they want.

GNOME takes those options away, so if you don't like what they have then you're stuck.

GNOME with Dash to Panel

Yeah, it also requires a lot of 3rd party addons to achieve basic functionality. Laymen shouldn't have to search for these, and they also shouldn't have to deal with them when they inevitably break.

Gnome hasn't been for normal users since Gnome2. That's when they started doing things "the gnome way" instead of just what's pragmatic.

Why do people keep saying that they didn’t work?

Honestly, I've never heard of theses things until now.

I'd wager at least 50% of the 66 people who upvoted /u/amio haven't heard of it until now, either. They just upvote things because other people upvote them.
