Some Lemmy instances let their users change what their name is displayed as while keeping their username. Some users do this to set up a name they would preferred to be called by.

While Boost seems to let you change your display name, it does not appear to show display names for other users. This is also an issue in other apps which has caused people to getting upset when they are called by their username instead of their display name like they may prefer, simply because other people can't see their display name.

As mentioned in the title, it could just be possible that I'm missing something, but I did look all over the settings and couldn't find any setting to show display names.

If that isn't a thing yet, it's something to consider. But if I missed something, I'd be happy to be pointed towards the right direction :) Love this app tho, thanks
