Fast-boot normally involves saving Windows to a swap partition and basically just half-hibernating. If that swap partition is shared with Linux it'd get overwritten and the boot method would swap to the slower one.

As far as I know there's no way to make a swap partition be exclusive to Linux or vice-versa.

Only if you have a swap partition, and if you dual-boot then that swap partition is gonna be overwritten all the time.

This is straight up treasonous. Writing directly to Trump (instead of speaking to the Australian public) to say she would reverse it is a not-so-subtle plea to get America to coup Albanese like Rudd and Whitlam.

I didn't realize she was that evil. This is why we can't have nice things.

This is REALLY bad. It'll require your age be verified by your ISP, operating system, email, search engine, and the site you visit. Fines of up to $49.5 million if violated.

If this is real, it is straight-up totalitarian.

Australia is very limited in how it can move away from America, because the Coalition enthusiastically sells us out to them any chance they can get.

Albanese, by repairing our relationship with China, is putting us on the right track. He can't get out of AUKUS and there may even be advantages to that such as giving Albanese Trump's ear and allowing him to potentially stop a war with China. I don't pay enough attention to what Albanese is doing behind the scenes to strengthen Australia's sovereignty.

All the things people are saying he needs to be bold and aggressive on, Labor has done so in the past and it's lost them election.

The fact is we're all too immersed in the American social media ecosystem and so we expect bold action to solve American problems that would only be vote-winners in a non-compulsory voting system where elections are fought on turnout (usually as a centrist vs. nutjobs race). Albanese knows the Australian political system well, that being that nobody really cares about politics here and if Labor wants to win they need to stay out of the press because it's run by private school kids who hate him (at best).

It is. EV's are just slightly less bad cars. They still cause potholes, traffic, high housing costs, noise, and pedestrian deaths.

I read that title as "facial transplant".

I will be taking no further questions.

Last I checked they were ghoulishly waiting at the prison in the hopes of watching her be sent in.

The media is garbage. We did not need this many updates on the case, and they did not need to rub it in so much (I think she obviously did it, but on the off chance she didn't they're basically bullying her at this point).

This seems like a really stupid solution and I have no idea what the government's thinking.

I read that as less of a "belief" and more of an "assumption". Most people don't think about paraplegic sex at any point on their life, so her assumption went unquestioned until she was prompted to by sex work.

Please don't scare me with a title like that so soon after an election.
